The company Faravelli s.r.o. was officially founded in 2005.
The main objective of founding the company, which initially had five employees, was the expansion of the Faravelli Group onto the Czech and Slovak markets.
The company initially focused on the food industry, agrochemicals, and special technical applications, especially surface treatment of metals and plastics (electroplating, degreasing, passivation, etc.), and in 2006 began collaborating with Metallchemie GmbH.
2007 was a turning point for the company’s orientation due to the initiation of cooperation with BASF in the field of household chemicals and cosmetics. It also began to expand its activities on the dietary supplement and specialty food market through collaborations with the companies Dr. Paul Lohman and EPO.
In 2008, thanks to the opening of the Faravelli Group’s branch in China (Faravelli China Co.Ltd), the company gained access to new sources of raw materials for the food and feed industry and for household chemicals
In 2010 company activities profiled into three main areas:
• Food/feed/dietary supplements
• Cosmetics/pharmacy/household chemicals
• Surface treatments and special chemicals
2009 saw an expansion in activities in the field of food. Faravelli s.r.o. initiated independent development activity in the field of food stabiliser mixtures in cooperation with the company Analytika s.r.o., and also expanded its portfolio to include products of the firm Aromabázis Kft. (today STOCKMEIER food Kft.) - flavourings for the food and feed industry.
The cosmetics and household chemicals division in particular in the years 2011 and 2012 saw significant growth, especially in due to the initiation of cooperation with the companies Ashland Industries Europe GmbH and Eigennmann ans Veronelli and the firm BASF.
It thus grew to include other important European and non-European suppliers.
The cooperation with another division of BASF, the firm Wolman, the European leader in wood protections, which was terminated in 2021, was clearly perceived as a recognition of Faravelli’s abilities and expertise.
A branch was opened in Slovakia in 2008, and another in Hungary in 2018.
In 2020-2021, Faravelli s.r.o. began collaborating with several European manufacturers of specialized standardized herbal extracts and patented products for the production of functional foods and dietary supplements, including
• the Sicilian company BIONAP Srl.
• Pharmactive Biotech Product, S.L. from Spain
• the Italian company LAYN Europe s.r.l
A producer of yeast nucleotides for humans and animals
• the Italian company PROSOL S.P.A
A manufacturer of tailor-made mineral vitamin premixes according to customer requirements
• the Spanish firm Productos Aditivos, S.A
Faravellli s.r.o. has stores in the Czech Republic and Hungary.
It currently has 11 employees.
